    Comment: This, which is my favourite all time song, was the shot in the arm Britain needed in the early 90's. At the time it was pretty depressing to be in the country, and the popular bands were playing defeatest, nihilist grunge and shoe gazing music. Life Forever is so contrasting in its optimism ("nows's not the time to cry nows the time to find our way") that it single handedly made oasis THE band to watch over night and was a catalyst to transforming the countries attitude. The song and Definetly Maybe, THE album consistently top all time favourite UK albums. oasis with their unashamed ambition, confidence and swagger were part of the whole Brit pop thing which begat cool Brittania which still reverberates to this day. The UK has not looked back since oasis and the release of this song. Whenever I am down I play it and it so uplifting.. I love it. - LiveForever
